Mandy Pravda's expertise falls within all things: public relations, promotions, growth marketing online, and business development. Whether it’s producing a gala or launching an international announcement of a new company, Mandy understands the multitude of minute details that go into any event and the importance of communicating the intent.
While Mandy was in her younger years she worked in the hospitality industry and, due to her developed key customer and staff relations, always found herself moving up in the business quickly. Mandy's upbringing around musicians and early start to motherhood allowed her to find the fire to pursue her passion in life. This paired with her industrialist persona, Mandy is able to continually bring all her visions to life; each time trumping the last.
Mandy was recognized in Toronto’s National Meeting + Incentive Travel Magazine in The Hall of Fame issue as the 20 Something Entrepreneur of Canada in 2013 for her contribution and experience to her industry. In 2016 Mandy organized and broke The Guinness Book of World Records for the World’s Largest Snowball Fight; clocking in at 7,681 participants for Saskatchewan. In 2017 was nominated as a CBC Saskatchewan’s #IAmSask "Mighty Saskatchewanians of Today and Yesteryear" and also received a nomination in 2016, 2017 and 2018 for CBC Saskatchewan's Future 40. In 2020 Mandy was named Winner of the Saskatchewan Tourism 2019 Awards of Excellence; Fred Heal Tourism Ambassador Category.
In 2019 she launched a Canadian first, Saskatchewan Fashion Association Inc. Even with her busy schedule, as President of the association Mandy continues to volunteer and support the Saskatchewan community; thriving on raising the bar and creating memorable experiences for everyone. Her love for fashion, music, and events lead her to be the entrepreneur she is today.
Since 2015 Mandy has been an adviser on Leisure Marketing Board for Tourism Saskatoon and in recent years has been developing Tourism Waskesiu under the Community Council and Chamber of Commerce. The council meets monthly to discuss the direction of Leisure Tourism, Hotel and Event Industry. Travel trends, geographical data collections, and traveler user experience are all areas Mandy excels in. Consumer behavior analysts increase target marketing results and direct sales. In 2016 Mandy launched an Online Reputation Management, MANE, aspect to her company assisting entrepreneurs and businesses build, manage and promote their online profiles and further reach consumers online. Building strategic partnerships and creating an online profile is more important than ever in this day in age, and it is never too late to start! Having experience with many different types of events and start-up projects, Mandy was able to discover her passion for concerts, event design, marketing and media, and high caliber production. Working alongside the best in the event industry, both Saskatchewan, and Internationally, Mandy has developed professional working relationships with a wide variety of suppliers, agents, and organizations. Mandy will continue to follow her passion to contribute to the Saskatchewan music and arts community. With 15 years of networking and experience, it allows her to consult and plan all types of events, as well as seek out only the best from Saskatchewan.
